ITFR WTC PICENO 2014   

The Organizing Committee has the pleasure to invite you to the 10th World Championship of Tennis for Rotarians and Rotaractors , which will take place in the Piceno Area from 23 to 30 August 2014. In fact, the International Tennis Fellowship of Rotarians ( ITFR ) ( www.itfr.org ), has awarded the organization of this prestigious event to Italy sure that, once again , Rotarians tennis fans will be able to demonstrate that the Fellowship motto "Score an Ace with Rotary ! For a winning service" are not just words , but deeds. The competition will be held on the courts of Tennis Club " Maggioni " in San Benedetto del Tronto , but this will be a wonderful opportunity to let participants know a part of Italy ,the Piceno, that tourist agencies around the world define " unexpected , unusual and surprising . " As a matter of the fact,this region provides an opportunity to choose between multiple routes : cities of art (starting from the beauties of Ascoli Piceno , where the juxtaposition of styles has created real gems ) , ancient medieval villages, historic theaters , museums and art galleries, archaeological sites, medieval and Romanesque architecture ,the striking views of the mountains and hills, fine sandy beaches and promenades lined with palm trees and oleanders.
